Well, as I was saying yesterday, I got my third AGT #21, and she had problems with her eyes and leg again. I had a poor experience when I had to call CS for the third time about the doll and they acted as though I was being overly picky. All I ask for in a doll when I order it is her limbs stay in place(buy not overly tight of course), her wig is okay(I've never had that problem but I have heard other people say they have), and that her eyes open and close properly. I don't think there is anything wrong with that.
Because I had a bad experience with them last time and I was so embarrassed to move to this measure, but I asked my mom to talk to them. Well, we called today and mom was talking to them but she was a little unsure of the details so she handed it over to me. I apologized to the CS rep. for switching off the phone and I told her what was going on. There was this awkward silence when I was telling her everything. I had told her the first return label for the first attempt had never arrived, but the second had. She asked me to read the numbers on the label and I tried to find it and she was annoyed that I didn't know which number to look for. Although I was sure the label was for the second attempt at exchanging the doll, she argued with me and said it should be for the first and it had been sent out, but then she mentioned I was right and it was the second label that I had, so they'd have to send out a new one for the first box of returns.. So I told that I was told the last time that if the third doll had problems then someone would have to inspect the fourth one such as a PS to make sure it was okay. I told her I wanted to return all the defective ones and try again. She responded in a very rude manner, "You want a fourth doll?!". I was shocked that she talked to me this way. She then asked if the doll was for a child or if I was collector, and I told her I was a collector, and she said in an annoyed manner, "Oh.". She then told me to hold. And while I was on hold I told my mom how she had treated me and I started to cry. I have never had that happen before, but she treated me badly and I couldn't believe how she acted. My mom said if she was rude to her, she was going to say something to her about this. I left the room because I didn't want to hear the conversation anymore. When my mom got done, she said the CS apologized for all the inconvenience and that normally they don't have this happen because people aren't that particular, and that they were sending out the labels to return everything. My mom told them we would then decide if we wanted the doll. My mom said the CS made some rude comment about how children are usally just so happy to get a doll, they don't care if anything is wrong with them, and they aren't used to people being that particular. I think no child or adult collector should be "happy" with a brand new doll who has loose eyes or loose limbs. And for her to act like I'm asking too much is unnerving. So when the new labels come, I will send all the dolls back, and I will not be getting a doll in exchange from them. I will get AGT #21 via a PS because I have heard such great things about them and all I want is a decent doll. I don't need perfection, but I think I deserve a nice doll that doesn't have problems. I don't think any person of any age should have to settle for poor quality control. I will never order a doll from the website or order it over the phone again. I will either have a PS pick them out, or I will wait till I go to Chicago. Don't get me wrong, not all CS have been like this; I have talked to some really great CS over the years, but lately they have just been terribly rude. Someone at AG should do some quality control on some of their CS!
